If you are implying that things worked in the old days, then
I'll have to disagree.  I screwed up machines by using multiple
repositories back then too and had given up on even trying
that again until recently.  Now I have another one with conflicts
although it isn't this particular thing.

Install the alsa stuff from freshrpms, then add planetccrma to your
repository list.  Maybe the conflict won't show until the next
update, though.
