It might be interesting to check also the list of categories from the 
freedesktop project. They created a list of categories for programs which can 
be used in .desktop files. It's probably not possible to use all those 
categories directly but we can 'test' our future list of groups: can every 
category be placed in one of the groups or not?  For example the 'Education' 
and 'Teaching' categories.. in which group do they belong?
