Yes I see that now, he responded both to me and the list.  I'm just 
playing catchup.  I sent him a note thanking him and told him that his 
info contained helpful clues.  I wonder if Jarod is having any luck.  It 
sounds like he's been finessing the dvb driver problems away but I'm not 
sure I'd want to see a new kernel before we had a grip on this problem.
