Sorry, I was on my way out the door when I sent those last two messages
but I'm back now.

I still can't scan for channels with the digital side of the HD3000s.
When I try I see no signal and the system reports:
DVBSignalMonitor(0)::constructor(-1,Warning, can
not measure Signal Strength): Remote I/O error
DVBSignalMonitor(0)::constructor(-1,Warning, can
not measure S/N): Remote I/O error

Yes, cx88-dvb does now autoload and the /dev/dvb/adapters are present.

Yes, but not well. See next question.

No, the video and audio from the PVR card were choppy and the terminal
shows tons of "NVP: prebuffering pause" appearing a second or two apart.
I had smooth video and audio before installing V4L.
I'll mention again, I am not using the PVR-350s video out, all video
comes from an Nvidia FX5200.
Axel, I didn't have the analog side of the HD3000s configured and I
don't think I can test that until we can get the digital side working.
The card's just not happy without a valid channel to start up with.
To remove

I'll wait on that until you tell me how you want this system configured.
for further testing.
