Modinfo says the cx8802 and cx88-dvb modules are set up like the ones from V4L 
instead of the stock 2.6.19 modules.  I haven't yet figured out whether this kernel has 
had V4L added to it or not.

This distro was designed for security checking, not entertainment so I doubt that it has 
IVTV in any way, shape or form.  I was only looking for drivers native to the kernel and 
these results suggest that IVTV isn't native in this release unless possibly it's a kernel 
compile option that the builder opted "no" for.

Agreed, but I didn't have to do that with the stock 2.6.19 fc6 kernel.

Correctamundo!  They behave the same as MD 3.2 or MD 4.0 with the latest V4L 
RPMs installed.
