[ATrpms-users] why is older alsa-kmdl being selected

I haven't seen this before. The kmdl plugin does try to trigger an
update of all kmdls, but leaves the specifics to yum's engine. Try

rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__*
rpm --rebuilddb
yum clean all

and retry. If it works something in the databases was messed up. If it
still has this issue, there is a bug in some code, either yum or the
plugin. But the plugin has been the same for ages and there haven't been
any similar issues in the past.
