   Did anyone get anywhere with this?  I missed this thread last month and 
just came across the issue with nuvexport last night.


   FWIW, I did discover that removing the "-vo null" empty video setting 
makes it (mplayer) work, albeit with a single frame flashing up on screen. 
I plan to write a wrapper script that removes any "-vo null" option and get 
nuvexport to call that for now.
