[ATrpms-users] Request for dkms in addition to kmdl RPMs

Hi everyone,

 

I would like to politely request that dkms RPMs be provided in addition
to the kmdl packages, or possibly instead of them. I manage lots of
machines. Some of them have the nvidia drivers from atrpms and I'll need
to start using  the atrpms alsa driver as well. I already have a few
packages that use DKMS, like OpenAFS and the proprietary ATI driver. I'm
looking to reduce the amount of pain when upgrading kernels.

 

On a side note, is there a guide on what compile environment is required
for compiling ATRPMs KMDL's?
