No, the reason behind EL5 not building is the support in diff/patch for
patching files with spaces in their name. The changed/removed file in
question is skins/iPod-default/img/Search Background.tiff. RHEL5's patch
cannot cope with it, the other distos can:

        Patch #300 (mythweb-0.24-gitfixes.patch):
        + patch -p1 -s
        The next patch would delete the file skins/iPod-default/img/Search,
        which does not exist!  Assume -R? [n] 
        Apply anyway? [n] 
        1 out of 1 hunk ignored
        error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.5087 (%prep)
