How come the fakeroot 1.11.19 is so specific I had 1.12 in there. 

That seems to have fixed the problem (STUPID Mistake) guide even says might
not work with newer versions grr lol

Also this definitely work I now have a kmdl however one bug to note 

After I run the first  ./bkmdl.sh 2.6.32.9-64.fc12
nvidia-graphics190.53-190.53-120.src.rpm 0 1

It worked successfully 

However when I ran the second ./bkmdl.sh 2.6.32.9-64.fc12
nvidia-graphics190.53-190.53-120.src.rpm

I got an error about a missing kernel source kernel-source or kernel-devel
however it is definitely installed 

So I looked at what it was complain about it said it was in 

/usr/src/kernels/2.6.31.12-174.2.3.fc12-x86_64

However I did not have a kernels there I had a kernel in 

/usr/src/kernels/2.6.31.12-174.2.3.fc12.x86_64

So I simply made a smlink from point to the correct location which allowed
the kmdl to be built J 

I think there might be a small typo in one of the bkmdl.sh scripts J

Have you downgraded fakeroot to 1.11.19?
