[ATrpms-users] I spoke too soon - Tainted lirc

Sorry for the delays on getting back. I was testing my remote on
another distro for a few days.

I removed all instances of lirc packages with rpm -qa lirc\* | xargs
rpm -e --nodeps --allmatches. I then compiled 0.8.4a and got
everything to work but after awhile I get the tainted errors. I also
tried with the packages with the same results.

I'm running Fedora 8 and 2.6.26.3-14.fc8. I've tried newer versions of
the kernel with the same result.
