Axel -- I filed a ticket on this at bugzilla.atrpms.net, #1449. Today I
attached the yum log from the machine in question to that ticket.
Note nvidia-graphics instances on August 17, 26, and 30th; these were
all attempts to fix direct rendering by reinstalling the drivers with
yum. The last attempt doesn't show since it was done using rpm
manually, both to uninstall and then reinstall. (I resorted to rpm
because 169 libs kept coming in with yum.)
Everything's working currently, so if you want me to replicate the
problem, I can back the system up and do another yum pull, and report on
the results, if you like. If this would help I'm glad to do it.
