Congratulations! Usually grandparents get the day shift ;)

No, they are not redundant, but they don't build either due to RH
additions to the kernel:
CC [M] /builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.o
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c: In function 'cpia2_usb_complete':
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c:214: error: 'false' undeclared (first use in this function)
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c:214: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c:214: error: for each function it appears in.)
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c:354: error: 'true' undeclared (first use in this function)
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c: In function 'cpia2_usb_stream_start':
/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.c:725: error: 'false' undeclared (first use in this function)
make[2]: *** [/builddir/video4linux-20080622/v4l/cpia2_usb.o] Error 1
This probably just means that bool has been defined in RH's 2.6.18
already and that it should be #ifdef'd out in the RHEL5 build, but it
needs someone to dig into it and check this out. I'll schedule an
updated package to see whether upstream maybe already fixed it, but
most probably they haven't since they work against vanilla kernels.
