Hi,
F8 is the same as F7. Axel created these packages because in F9 there is a
qt3,
and qt is in fact qt4. Therefore, these new packages are just wrappers (they
are empty),
making it possible to use, for instance, qt3-devel in all packages for all
Fedora/RHEL without using any compilation switch.
You will see that, for el4, there is also a kdelibs3, due to the same
reason.
I still have an FC6 system at home, and this workaround makes the recreation
of
packages really easier.
