echo $MACHTYPE

returns i386. I supposed no one needs an i585 or i386 module anymore.

 rpm -q --qf "%{name}-%{version} : %{arch}\n" kernel

return?

This is not a kernel bug. I am still running FC6 on a few computers and have
built myself all the
nvidia drivers that appeared in ATrpms. They work just fine.
