I had no problems loading dependancies or compiling for f8 x86_64. There was a patch that I had to apply to get it compile. http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~moongies/sw9vc4htz2/mythstream.cpp.patch_svn20071123

Subject: [ATrpms-users] File conflicts when installing mythtv-devel
Hi,
I'm trying to re-compile mythstream after upgrading to mythtv .21, and I'm having trouble installing mythtv-devel from atrpms, which is a dependency for compiling mythstream.
After attempting to "yum install mythtv-devel", I get a file conflict between libXvMCW-0.9.3-4.0.el5 (from atrpms) and libXvMC-1.0.2-2.1 (from centos base). Both repos are necessary for installing mythtv-devel for me. Here's the error:
Transaction Check Error:
file /etc/X11/XvMCConfig from install of libXvMCW-0.9.3-4.0.el5 conflicts with file from package libXvMC-1.0.2-2.1
file /usr/lib/libXvMCW.so.1.0.0 from install of libXvMCW-0.9.3-4.0.el5 conflicts with file from package libXvMC-1.0.2-2.1
I could go ahead and try to "yum install libXvMCW-0.9.3-4.0.el5" from atrpms and see where that gets me, but I'm a little afraid it would overwrite something that was needed by libXvMC-1.0.2-2.1 and cause unknown problems. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do here?
Or alternatively, if someone knew a timeline for when mythstream would be available in a 0.21-compatible package, I may choose to wait.
Thanks,
-Leif
