Hi ,

I have compiled and built an rpm of wireshark in 32 bit RHEL 4 m/c, but
getting the following error while installing it:

error: Failed dependencies:

        libiconv.so.2 is needed by
WiresharkDecoderPlugin_R3-0.99.5-8.i386

The solution to this mentioned in a forum is to build a dummy rpm just
to satisfy the dependencies.

I have a written a dummy spec file which contains libiconv.so.2 in the
provides section, and to build tht rpm I am using the following cmd:

rpm -ba libiconv-dummy.spec.

But I am getting -ba: unknown option.

Can somebody please tell me how to build an dummy rpm, or any solution
to my problem??

Its very urgent please .

BR,

Tarani
