Correct for the order of errors.

Installed video4linux 84
card is detected but just the IR and sound capture port, not the video

Also no sound card is seen (however this could just be due to the
default CentOS alsa drivers, from time to time my sound card isn't
recognised and I have to reboot to fix it)

video4linux 81
no error, all cards are recognised. sound card work too.

It does look like video4linux need to be compiled against the atrpms
alsa as you suggested.


As a side note, smart always get very confused when it comes to
downgrading package.

Like here I'm trying to select video4linux 81 while 84 is installed.
It automatically wants to remove all video4linux 84 (normal) but
install the XEN kernel (which I have never installed on my machine)
and the video4linux kmdl for this kernel.

To install 81, I must remove 84 first, then install 81. A bit annoying.
