Hi. I am getting the following error each time I try
to run mythtranscode.
bash-3.2$ /bin/nice -n19 /usr/bin/mythtranscode
--showprogress -p 27 -c 1017 -s 2007-12-20-21-55-00 -f
"/tmp/fifodir_10216/" --honorcutlist
2008-01-02 23:12:06.207 Using runtime prefix = /usr
2008-01-02 23:12:25.346 New DB connection, total: 1
2008-01-02 23:12:31.111 Unable to connect to database!
2008-01-02 23:12:31.111 Driver error was [1/2013]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Lost connection to MySQL server at 'sending
authentication information', system error: 32

QSqlQuery::exec: database not open

2008-01-02 23:12:35.209 New DB connection, total: 2
2008-01-02 23:12:49.070 Using protocol version 31

=======================
If I use mysqladmin, I do notget such an error.
bash-3.2$ mysqladmin -u mythtv -p status
Enter password:
Uptime: 5667  Threads: 7  Questions: 5865  Slow
queries: 0 Opens: 102 Flush tables: 1 Open tables:
96 Queries per second avg: 1.035
bash-3.2$

The problem is that I am trying to run nuvexport and I
am running into this. Because it takes time for Mysql
to put the Error, the fifo is not properly setup and
mencoder does not find vidout and audout when it is
forked.
Other than updates nothing have really changed in my
system.

What can I do, I could not google a similar problem
anywhere, nor is there an explanation about what a
system error 32 is that I could find and understand.

Pls help, thanks

Javier
