mythtv always manage to upgrade the database scheme from one version
to another. Just make sure you backup in case you need to revert back.
I installed the testing version, because I wanted to try the flash
playing. To realise then that none of my mythtv client would now work
with the new version due to change on the mythtv protocol.
I use my macbook pro laptop to watch TV (CentOS 5 mythtv server). So
it was useless to me
Plus there are good solutions to get flash preview from mythweb. They
work with the current version of mythtv. It isn't as good looking as
the newer mythtv version, but in my experience it works better.
if you search the mythtv web site, you'll find patches on how to
stream flash video from mythweb with the current 0.20.2 version
