Kirk,
If you wish to eliminate all symbol error messages, run "yum provides" for
each file mentioned. This will tell you which other -debuginfo RPMs you
need to install. For example, glibc-debuginfo, etc. I don't believe you
need to install ALL the -debuginfo RPMs to get valid MythTV debug
information. If you install just the MythTV debuginfo RPMs, you'll get
symbols for just MythTV, which may be enough to find the underlying
problem. You just have to live with the symbol error messages each time you
start gdb.
