[ATrpms-users] MythTV 178 Crashes on Recording Start

Can somebody clarify the status of the stable mythtv release? My yum
update still tries to install ver 175 which I believe is broken.

Is there a stable replacement yet and if so what version number is
it? If not when might one be available?

Also, if ver175 is indeed broken, wouldn't it be best to remove it (or
replace with downgrade) from the repo so people don't continue to
update to it? 

Maybe I'm confused and missing something...
