[ATrpms-users] irexec unresponsive

Hi,

I have a problem with irexec as started by the lircd script installed in
/etc/init.d by the lircd.x86_64 rpm.
On startup the lircd daemon starts, as does the irexec daemon - but irexec
is unresponsive.

When I kill irexec and start it from bash by entering the same command as in
the lircd script it works fine.
I can do this as user or root so it doesn't seem to be a permissions
problem.

If I restart the lircd service (thus restarting the irexec daemon from it)
irexec is unresponsive again.
So it never works when started by the system, but it always works when I
start it manually.

I run Fedora 8 with fedora and atrpms repositories and all my rpms are up to
date. Selinux is disabled.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Ben
