Dag and Dries formed RPMforge (with FreshRPMS), and recently (for a while now)
Axel has mentioned there's an amalgamation going on between ATrpms, RPMforge.

So some things seem to be happening, but just as there's more flavours of ice
cream than vanilla, I'm sure there'll never be a repo that satisfies everyone.
