hi everyone,

Will the openafs kmdl rpms be rebuilt overnight for the new kernel that
was released by redhat today? If not, I humbly request that they be
updated for the new RHEL5 kernel that fixes the local root exploit.

I tried recompiling the src rpm myself, but I got the following error:

*** WARNING: No build ID note found in
/var/tmp/openafs-1.4.6-26.el5-root/usr/lib/libafsauthent.so.1.0
extracting debug info from
/var/tmp/openafs-1.4.6-26.el5-root/usr/libexec/openafs/volserver
/usr/lib/rpm/debugedit: canonicalization unexpectedly shrank by one
character
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.52383 (%install)

I'm running RHEL5 Desktop on i386.

I'd like to be able to start testing the new kernel in the morning (EST).

Sincerely,
Jason
