Yes, that has bitten me a lot of times.

If you have already installed flash-plugin you shouldn't need this
step as it is done by both nspluginwrapper %postinstall scripts. But I
wonder how nspluginwrapper would deal with upgrades to flash-plugin,
one would probably need to manually rerun `mozilla-plugin-config -i'
anyway.
