[ATrpms-users] uvc-kmdl (probably) not necessary after 2.6.24

Axel,
When upgrading to kernel 2.6.24, I noticed in the changelog that the
uvc drivers have now been integrated into the kernel.

Presumably, this means that the uvc-kmdl that I was maintaining is no
longer necessary. I also verified that the included kernel uvc driver
works on a uvc webcam.

You may still want to keep the srpm in your files (and I will in mine)
in case there is a reason to maintain a more "bleeding edge" version
of the uvc drivers, but I'm not sure it is necessary anymore for the
base system.

Regards,
Jeff
