I am using FC7, but point taken; I will have to move to FC>7 soon.

How do I avoid the constant cycle of having to fiddle with pm-utils
then? Why is it pulling a cubbi_tuxonice version when I am not
running that kernel? And how do I avoid having vbetool or radeontool
on my system? I don't think these are dependencies for anything I
have (again, not using a VBE or Radeon card).

If it turns out I just need to live with this, so be it, it is not a
showstopper.

Thanks
