[ATrpms-users] sensors: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/libsensors.so.3: undefined symbol: sensors_lex_error

Hello i have the intel 7501wv2 serverboard and i am running CentOS 5 
also i have 533 dual xeons in this board and read some stuff on the 
lm-sensors wiki 
about cpu sensors and using xeontemp not to clear on most of what i 
need to 
do. I tried to get lm-sensor installed by following the instructions or the lm-sensors web site but get all kinds of problems. Therefore i am now trying these rpms instead 

libsensors3-2.10.4-50.el5.i386.rpm 
lm_sensors-2.10.4-50.el5.i386.rpm 

here is the output of a uname -a 
Linux canmail.org 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5 #1 SMP Tue Jul 10 06:50:22 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux 

this is the error i receive when i try to run the sensors or sensors -s command 
sensors -s 
sensors: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/libsensors.so.3: undefined symbol: sensors_lex_error
