[ATrpms-users] Missing font dependency for MythTV on Fedora 7

Hi,

I'm in the process of getting MythTV working on a machine with a freshly
installed F7, using the packages from ATrpms (many thanks for the
packaging!).

I was perplexed for a while because when the howto said to run
mythtv-setup, although mythtv-setup was obviously running, it was
completely unclear as to what to do - the screen was mostly blank, with
just a background image.

After some searching I came to the conclusion that there should have
been menu entries showing options!

I believe this is down to a change in fonts in Fedora 7. I found a
webcore-fonts RPM elsewhere; installing this cured the issue.

I suspect this is due to Fedora's adoption of their "Liberation" fonts:

I think that Mythtv needs Arial - which Liberation Sans replaces. I
guess there's no reason Myth couldn't migrate to the new fonts in the
future, but as it currently stands the ATrpms packages aren't sufficient
to run MythTV on F7.

Regards,

kev.
