Well I got it working by forcing the downgraded kernel. Works for me, no 
side effects yet. Maybe 2.6.22.4-45 is brand new and Axel hasn't had 
time to rebuild modules.

I have no idea how new it is since I just did this FC6 install fresh 
last night and did a yum update immediately afterwards.
