Hi!
Just a warning: This might be obvious, but:
Be very careful about mixing kernels at boot time, when you have a
regular fedora and a swsuspend resp. tuxonice kernel installed on one
machine, and you are using the hibernate functionality!!!
I had exactly that setup, and wasn't careful enough. Here's what happened:
(1) Run tuxonice kernel -> hibernated.
(2) Run standard (fc7) kernel -> It didn't use the swap partition
for some reason I don't know.
(3) Run tuxonice kernel -> It decided to load the suspended state
from (1), and Bang! ext3 became really confused because the
filesystem system meanwhile changed under its feet :((
This resulted in massive filesystem corruption and thus some data loss...
So, be careful!
