sorry to be dense here, but do I need to do the exclude thing that was
mentioned in a prior email (that is: putting in the line
"exclude=libraw1394*" in the [updates] section inside
/etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo before doing a "yum update")?

I blacklisted, as described in the prior thread, last time I had
firewire issues.  Any need to do that again?
