[ATrpms-users] Is Mythtv-thrunk broken ?

Ok I fixed my problem.

FYI i did indeed use yum update.

Problem was i tryed to compile a while ago mythtv myself using the src package. While i had problems with compiling i thought i canceled it, but in /bin where still some mythtv binaris which interfered when i upgraded using yum update last week.

Everything is working again now except for backendautodiscovery. When mythfrontend starts you have to choose between not connect and use the backend server. After that a pin code is asked which you have to setup using mythv-setup, but there is no pin code dialog there so......after some searching i disabled autodiscovery using the -d switch when mythfrontend is starting.

Thanks for your answers.

Hans.

I think you did something wrong like for example "yum update mythtv"
instead of simply "yum update". Try again with a plain yum update and
see what happens.
