Hm, maybe I'm misunderstanding yum's internals. I thought the newer
yum and new repomd structures made it unnecessary for yum to fetch
headers (and in this case it does it by range transfers).
I'll see whether I can single out yum in the checks against download
accellerators/DoS's.
