[ATrpms-users] Geo Location Mirror List

Hello All,

While setting up an Australian mirror I found that Axel hasn't had a
chance to setup a Geo Location mirror script. So I got in and created a
beta version.

Everyone is welcome to try it out. The URL is
http://www.dknss.com/glo-cgi-bin/atrpms/mirrors.cgi?repo=<your arch>

The easiest way to use it is to update your repo files to something like
the following

[atrpms]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - ATrpms
#baseurl=http://dl.atrpms.net/f$releasever-$basearch/atrpms/stable
mirrorlist=http://www.dknss.com/glo-cgi-bin/atrpms/mirrors.cgi?repo=f$releasever-$basearch
gpgkey=http://ATrpms.net/RPM-GPG-KEY.atrpms
gpgcheck=1

Note that the above is for Fedora 7, however all that is needed is to
make sure the repo argument is equal to your arch
ie ..mirrors.cgi?repo=el5-i386

This will select the mirror in your country (if there is one), otherwise
you will be given a list of all mirrors, with atrpms.net being the last
resort.
