I quickly browsed these - perhaps you can cast this into a kernel
module that could become a kmdl overiding the one from the kernel rpm?
That way you could be using the RHEL/CentOS kernel and the fixed
module. If that's possible I can help you make this a kmdl. But that's
probably stuff for atrpms-devel.

Acually I'm a half-Greek married to a full Greek wife, and have lived
half my live in Athens and half in Berlin. The move back to Athens was
triggered mostly by family obligations (aging parents & parents in
law).
