Yes, the Intel software RAID was picked up automatically and I could
install both Fedora 7 and Centos 5 without any problems.

There is an issue with the IDE controller on this motherboard JMicron
IDE controller JMB363 ...
Someone made a patch for the kernel 2.6.20 but CentOS is running
2.6.18 and I didn't want to patch the kernel
