Can you post the exact wording of the missing nvidia.ko? This is the
kernel module and is not directly loaded by mythtv. If it was working
before installing mythtv it should continue to do so.

Also try

find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name nvidia\*ko

to identify what modules you have installed.
