I've been watching the updating of Kernel modules for Fedora 7 kernel 
2.6.23.1-10 and there is one left that I am eagerly waiting for. The 
modules for ieee1394. I'm told the 2.6.23 has a fix for a DMA error with 
Firewire I'm eager to get, as my MythTV set has crashed reporting it.

I had hoped that somehow, the stock firewire stack for F7 would become 
supported for the functions I need, but that seems to have not happened.
