[ATrpms-users] gphoto2 2.4.0

Hi,

I always had problems with gphoto2 2.3.1, which did not work with
my Canon Powershot 430. This forced me to stick with gphoto2 2.2.0

However, I managed to build gphoto2 2.4.0 for FC6, adapting the spec file
from F8.
But I had to break the spec file and build libgphoto2 and gphoto2
separately.

This was the only way (I wish I could have just rebuilt), but it seems also
to be more appropriate, in my opinion.
I had also to use two scripts from the 2.3 Fedora rpm.

Anyway, it is working fine for me with my Sony T7 and my Canon Powershot
430.

If anyone is willing to try them, there are a lot of new cameras supported.

If it does not work for you, just go back to the previous official rpm
release.

I did not tried them on F7. But maybe the .src.rpm still work.

F8 should be out next week, but those lazy people like me, still using FC6
(EOL in December),
may keep using their new cameras a bit longer.
