[ATrpms-users] issues trying to update

FC6 (i386) box w/PVR-350

I'm trying to do an update on my myth box, but I cant seem to resolve
several dependencies.
I went back 3 months in the archives and didn't see anything about these.

I tried to update mplayer by itself and was told no package found.
If I went to update ivtv, it would update ivtv,kernel and some
supporting packages but wanted to remove alsa and all its driver.

I'm trying to avoid (for obvious reasons) doing any forced upgrades, but
I'm at a loss as to how to get "yum update"
 to work

I have tried excluding various repos (extras, freshrpms) but haven't met
with success.

Error: Missing Dependency: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.19-1.2895.fc6 is needed by
package ivtv-kmdl-2.6.19-1.2895.fc6
Error: Missing Dependency: libdirectfb-0.9.so.25 is needed by package
mplayer



Anyone have any ideas?
