very interesting, axel!

let me be sure that i understand what you are saying.  i remove all the
ivtv packages, as in the list above?  and install the video4linux and
it's kmdl packages?

i guess i understand that ivtv was/is in the process of moving into the
kernel.  so, it'll be in the video4linux packages from now on?

or did i misunderstand you completely?

sorry -- i've fought this problem through soooo many crashes and lost
soo many myth recordings that i want to be really sure what i'm doing
this time around.  :-/
