Hibernation to file is supported, but not well documented. There is some
egg-chicken problem in the setup. To get it running you first need to
boot into a Suspend2 kernel.
Then edit /etc/hibernate/suspend2.conf and uncomment the
"FilewriteLocation" entry there and fill in the correct values.
After that delete a previos existing suspendfile and recreate your
initrd by running the following command (as root):
/sbin/new-kernel-pkg-suspend2 --package kernel --mkinitrd --depmod --suspend2-version=20210 --suspend2-userui=auto --install 2.6.21-1.3194_2.fc7.cubbi_suspend2
(fill in the right kernel version if using a different kernel)
The mkinitrd script should create a new suspendfile and write the
correct values in the initrd. You should not need any special parameters
on the kernel commandline.
