[ATrpms-users] Dependency on "testing" Kernel Version

Thanks, your suggestion resolved the issue.  Before receiving your
reply, I tried forcing the right kmdl version, but it did not work
because I was running 'yum install
nvidia-graphics100.14.11-kmdl-`uname -r`', and this did not do
anything.  When I ran yum install for both packages as you suggested
it worked fine.

I know little about what yum can and cannot do, and how repositories
work in general, but given the issue that I encountered, I must ask
the following question:  Why does the stable atrpms repository contain
kmdl packages for kernel version which are not in the fedora and
fedora/updates repositories?  I made another observation after adding
the atrpms repository.  Before installing a single package from atrpms
I ran 'yum update', and this failed for a similar reason (kmdl package
was missing a dependency on the 'testing' kernel version).  In my view
this should never happen.
