No, you don't have to. Unfortunately yum isn't that helpful when it
needs to choose a kmdl. So for the firts time it is better to help yum
do the right decision (see below).

Try

yum install nvidia-graphics100.14.11 nvidia-graphics100.14.11-kmdl-`uname -r`

and then also install yum-plugin-kmdl so you never have to worry again later.
