[ATrpms-users] Missing Edit bar on MythTV

Hi
While playing back a recording, I used to be able to
press menu/i and upon entering Edit mode, a
translucent bar would appear at the bottom of the
screen marking my position within the recording. It
would also display the  marked-out sections for
deletion. 

Now that I upgraded to F7, this bar does not show up.
I can press menu/i and show the top/left menus but
upon entering Edit mode the bar does not show up. I
can edit, but I do not know how big the edit jumps
are, nor does the prompt asking if I wanted to erase
forward or backwards that used to appear shows up
anymore.

What can I change to have it back?
