cpu doesn't build anymore since FC5. The fixes needed look small
(invalid lvalue), but the project looks abandoned - personally I
switched to libuser which has a very similar cli (both cpu and libuser
keep close to the conventional shadow-utils).

Perhaps you'll find patches in Debian/Mandrake, and if you want to
continue maintaining the package I wouldn't mind resurrecting it
(after all ATrpms is about what the users want), but I would recommend
switching to libuser.
