Ok so let me try and understand...

the kernel 2.6.20-1.2948.fc6 has been removed from the repo and yum is trying to download 
dependancies for this kernel?

Is this correct or am I not understanding the situation?
and is this normal behaviour or do we need to wait a longer period to update?
