[ATrpms-users] Linux disc not booting

Hi ,

 

One of our  Linux machine Crashed and it is not at all booting. 

 

We have tried with booting with the CD but nothing worked out.

 

We have also tried with another hard disc as master and our one as slave
but it s not able to mount. 

 

It shows:  "Grub Loading Please wait. Error 2 ".

 

We have tried the following :

 

1) Boot from the first CD

2) Type: linux rescue

3) select: skip media test

4) select: of for language

5) select: ok for keyboard

6) select: continue with rescue

7) select: ok with rescue

8) type: chroot /mnt/sysimage

9) type: grub-install /dev/sda

 

But it did not work out .....Could you please help????
